French Glacé Cherry Chocolate Muffins Chocolate, Kids friendly, Sweet May 7, 2015 0.0 0 Prep: 20 mins Cook: 25 mins 20 mins 25 mins 45 mins Serves: 12 Share 3 Full-screen Ingredients 100g French glacé cherries, roughly chopped plus 50g, halved 100g melted butter 125g caster sugar 2 large eggs, beaten 250ml milk 250g plain flour 50g cocoa powder 1 tbsp baking powder 50g white chocolate chips Method Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper muffin cake cases. Blend the butter, sugar, eggs and milk together in a large mixing bowl. Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powders into a separate bowl and then sift again in to the butter mixture. Mix together taking care not to over do it – the mixture is meant to be lumpy! Add the chopped French glacé cherries and the chocolate chips to the muffin mixture. Lightly stir in and then divide the mixture between the muffin cases. Top with the halves of glacé cherries.
